I don't have an original Generals disk. I only have Zero Hour and it isn't installed.
Everything seems to be in order; I'll just ask my parents na lang.
Just one thing, could we add Warcraft 3 to the roster of PC games? I wanna spam skellies one last time...
One last thing, could someone bring a deck of playing cards? >=D
Vince, I thnk Joey has an extra original Generals CD from C&C The First Decade, not entirely sure though.
Oh btw, just so all of you guys know, Blizzard recently released a patch for Warcraft 3 enabling you to play without the CD (aka, the only disks were probably gonna bring are Generals and Tiberium Wars)
[to Vince]
Yeah, got an extra Generals + Generals : Zero Hour disc set from 1st decade.
[to Willard]
It's my house. I've got tons of playing cards (not Wow Cards).
Warcraft 3? I uninstalled that long ago... =_=
Can you elaborate more on the patch and how it would work on LAN?
I wasn't referring to WoW cards, although it would be nice if Lance is able to bring some with him.
Well, both Generals and Warcraft 3 are not currently installed on my computer, so just take the extra effort to install it.
Just mentioned the patch so that it would be easier for us cause we won't have to bring the CDs.
I'll bring my black pc, along with the vid card.
CoH (Demo) to be tested soon. Update na lng kita Joey.
[to Willard]
I don't have the harddrive space; that's why I uninstalled it. =_=
[to Hard]
Sige... roger.
Cool. Good to know there is an extra copy of Generals.
I second Willard's idea of adding Warcraft 3 to the roster of PC games.
[to Joey]
I'm sure you can get the hard drive space somehow. With Frozen Throne, Warcraft III only takes up around 1 GB.
I would like more info on the patch.
Like - does it collect CD keys, etc when going LAN?
Will see... W3 has a bad history of hanging and it initially gave me installtion issues (as Lance would know).
[To Joey]
If I'm not mistaken (as I have not yet installed Warcraft 3 on my PC), the program will prompt you for the only CD key during the patching process. After that, you don't need the CD key to play the game both online and offline. Think CoH:OF, except that you don't need an internet connection in order to play the game without the CD. As to how it will affect LAN games, it just saves us the hassle of bringing the original CDs to your house.
Bad history of hanging? In what way? For a PC that can handle CoH, it seems quite odd that it would hang with Warcraft 3 (unless it's only via LAN).
When I installed W3, there was a glitch issue with my computer and the game (don't know why), so I had to fiddle with the stuff for it to work.
Afterwards, it would hang / crash the comp. I think it's some "hardware/software" instability issue and I decided to just uninstall it since I don't bother with the game and I needed the space on my HDD.
Are your parents game na?
