The leaders will reserve the right to invite any person. It is not for you to decide. Sorry, but we can screen out active and good players by that process. Favoritism is out of the question seeing as the past two honoraries are exemplary gamers. Not addicts, but extremely good in their respective fields, intelligent, and well... basta good. The main members, as explained by Joseph are the original lounge guys. You obviously know who they are. Have I answered all your questions?
Well that settles it...thanks but really, we other core members should at least get to know them first so that we can get acquinted. Welcome them if ever...
Okay, let me try to shed some light on this issue. Although I agree with most of Gian's post, I'll have to dispute the last paragraph, as I don't fully support it.
First of all, I don't know much about Frillion, or if she even is joining the clan. As far as I know, Joey and Gian befriended her in deviantart, and that she's an avid gamer. Oh, and please refrain from using the word "Chick"; I don't find it tactful.
Second, the freshie will not be joining the clan; he is not even am avid gamer. If you are wondering why he has been sitting on your table for the past couple of reccesses, he simply wants to chat with his Stallion Photography mates, namely Joey and Gian.
Nope, as far as I know, there are no other people yet.
Redwense was just simply invited to the clan. He is a good friend of Lance and a former WoW-er. He also enjoys all types of strategy game such as Company of Heroes and Warcraft 3. Oh, and he can probably own all of us when it comes to RTS... As for the *honorary* members stauts, there is no such thing. We don't kick people out just because they don't contribute.
Vince is a disciple of Chuck Norris! And, quite recently, he has started to appear more often to comment and post on the blog. He's responsible for the former condemnation of the *evil* blogger bar.
Okay, here's the thing: I disagree with this statement. First of all, the leaders are not the only ones who have the right to invite people. In fact, we are NOT leaders, just moderators of the site (grammar, offensive language, etc.). I say we all have a say on who gets to join, so as to avoid disputes and future conflicts. Basically, everybody has a say on what we do. Next, although a screening proccess would be good, I don't entirely agree on making it a formality as of now. We are a small clan, and, in fact, not even a serious one that competes in international or even national competitions, so I don't find the need to *screen* every single aspirant.
Lastly, guys, don't take this whole clan thing too seriously, just relax and enjoy the ride. So many new and exciting games are coming out, and I'd like to enjoy them with everyone here. =D
